Not everyone’s cup of tea, I know but we are on Day 5 of the Weekthun. We went to silence on Tuesday, & it really was revealing. And a little difficult at first. Going this deeply into meditation practice is something I would recommend to all.
Sitting Meditation, interspersed with walking meditation and Shamatha Yoga is the daily prescription. Morning & evening chants round out the 08:30 to 18h00 day. Silent lunches are interesting! I really enjoy diving this deeply into Shambhala meditation, having just been introduced to it by the Sakyong during a weekend retreat in Halifax in February 2017.
